an update:

Yo people who might happen to still read these things.

I'm listening to Sigur Ros right now... and enjoying it. So take that suckers.

I'm 22 now. I've been hired by the Center for Creative Media. I'm the Director of Photography. I live in Lindale, Texas. My Grandmother gave me my Grandpa's old truck. It's my first vehicle. I'm diggin' it. Since I last posted I've been to L.A., South Africa, Washington State, Canada, Boston, and Cleveland. I'm in Georgia right now for Christmas. Next week I'm going on a cruise to Jamiaca and the Cayman Islands. The day I get back from that I am going to Guatemala for a shoot with Compassion International. Yep.... I have a pretty sweet job.

annnnnnnnd I don't feel like typing anymore.

I use facebook now.

if I ever post on here again... i suppose it will be a rare and special treat.

I'm not dead. I just haven't posted in over a month. I probably won't have time to post again until after battlecry next week.. and maybe not even then. who knows.

Ok! Yeah...

First off... Today is my wonderful friend Andrew Hummel's birthday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY!

You are the man! It's been, and will continue to be, a pleasure.

The other night for POV we had a royal rumble. It was a genuinely good time. My POV, BuckWild, challenged Mike's POV to a volleyball game, and then a sumo wrestling match. We lost the volleyball game and were out-muscled for the Sumo match... but holy mackeral was it a good time. Here's our pre-game toughness shots.

Note: We were unfortunetally missing George and Christian that night.

Note: We had way more team spirit then the other team.

1...2...3... BUCKWILLLLLLLD!!!!!!!

Here's other random stuffs.

Last night's sunset was pretty dope.

And there are all of these web things all over the place in trees and in bushes... they are full of caterpillars. Way cool.

If you can figure out how I did this... good job.

Here is a phone chillin with a dice-a-licious next to a laptop.

And speaking of computers... the other week one of our edit bays freaked out and the ENTIRE machine was just the letter A. No joke... everything that would normally be any sort of word or character was all the letter A. Check it.

And still speaking of computers... Here's my buddy Nate on one.

And finally... guess what? As a child growing up in the suburbs of America... I did not ever really have silly putty. Like, I guess I just missed out. I can maybe remember a few times playing with it... but I just never really did. So anyways, the other week a friend bought me some to help cope with the edit bay stress levels.

Yea... One day I didn't have the little egg cap to put it in, but I needed both of my hands... so I stuck it in my pocket. Which is bad. Apparently everyone on earth knew this except me. I mean... I know now.

Here's the evidence.

Please... don't ever make the same mistake as me.

Thanks for stopping by.

Much love,

-Jason White

Currently Listening
Five Score & Seven Years Ago
By Relient K
I Need You
see related

Alright! so this week was a week of rest. Honestly. It was so good. There was an extremely light work load. What a nice break. BattleCry production for the Detroit event (Arpil 13-14) will probably hit hard starting Monday. I'm pumped! It's going to be such a good event! My family will be there! As will Hillsong United. So yes... much rejoicing all around!

The new Relient K cd is STILL amazing. I love it so much. The DVD that came with my CD has this behind the scenes section on it. Those guys are crazy. I've talked to them a bunch of times in the past after shows. They've always been crazy. Loveable and crazy.

My friend Sara Tangalanga (sweet name, right?) and I had a photoshoot yesterday. I will now post some of the pictures:

That's me... always thinking...

They gave me The Chair... I never talked though...

Afternoon break was always my favorite back on the farm. Cool shade... Lemonade...

But once it was time for work.. Dag Nabbit we got back to work!

I was the best tree climber of the bunch. Heck, I wouldn't give up for nothing... if a branch was in my way... I'd eat it.

This was my "Employee of the Month" photo.

This is what a man's hand SHOULD look like. HOO YA!

We had ourselves a good time.

In other news.

Today my Grandfather had a severe heart attack. He had to have emergency surgery and is now in intesive care. Wow. That's really intense. My Grandma on my Dad's side died when I was like 6... but aside from that there has never been a death in my family. So I don't know what that is like. And I sure don't want to know any time soon. So my whole family is praying for him. He's old, but he's not THAT old. Not the dying type of old. He's going to pull through this just fine. In the name of Jesus!

If you all would pray for him too, please do.

Much love!

-Jason White.

Well BattleCry San Francisco is over and what a weekend it was! I'm telling you what! I loved it. It was so good. So very very good. The event went over extremely well. People were changed. I could see it. I could smell it. I could taste it... Well... I could it at least see it. Seriously though... Those youth at that event were changed. Seeing the progression over the weekend... esspecially in the worship... wow. By the end of it, the whole place was just fired up. Passion and more passion flowing everywhere. In the name of Jesus they are going to go from there and be extravagant lights for the gospel.

Well what would be a trip travelled by Jason White without some pictures to accompany it. Here are some pictures that I hope you will enjoy and will give you an idea, if but even just a glimpse, of what the event was like:

The stage this year was the most amazing stage Teen Mania has ever had. Seriously. It was just gorgeous. I'll start off with some pictures of it.

Wow... Amazing. So pretty. So many lights. So many GFX that I helped create. Wow. Wow. Wow. Can't wait 'till Detroit. It'll be even BETTER!

The worship band was AWESOME. Unhindered was their name and they did a killer job. Truly annointed!

-this guy reminds me of one of little green army men. love it!

The Leader-Man did a great job. Ron Luce spoke some really really good words.

I like this picture:

The ministry time on Friday night was spectacular. So many kids realized the hole in their hearts and came forward to accept the amazingness of the Lord.

There was a drama too. It went very well. I don't have very many good pictures of that. Why? Obviously because I am horrible with the camera. So can it.

Shelly Lewis was a co-MC for the weekend. She was so awesome.

Here's a random picture of my Canadian friend Jennifer.

I befriended a guy named Steve. Or Steven... It was loud when he introduced himself. It's one of those.

They launched some shirts and free merch into the crowd via those water balloon launchers. Here is a cool picture to help illustrate what I just typed.

And then, of course, there were some rocking concerts.

Skillet jammed it out pretty hard. Good job to them!

Tye Tribbett was this Gospel/Rock band. Great Greasy Gumballs!! He was amazing.

Heck, this guy liked em!

As did these Extremely happy girls!

GUITAR PICKS!!!

Who are these kids moshing too?

All bets are on P.O.D.

P.O.D. did so well, this girl didn't even have words. Seriously... she forgot the english language and just stood there.

This youth group was so there.

And I suppose I will end it off with these kids:

All in all... the verdict is VERY YES. BattleCry was a success.

-Jason White

p.s. My family is flying up for Detroit BattleCry and I am very very happy about that.
